Ken Griffey Jr cracked a homer and had 2 RBI at the ballpark as the Chicago
Colts beat the Dyersville Jurassics in 10 innings 7 to 6.
 
The game was deadlocked at 6 after nine full innings.  Chicago won the game in
the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Jim Thome reached on an error.
Joe Nathan then let loose a wild pitch.  After another out, Prince Fielder
came up and he was walked intentionally.  Griffey Jr followed and he slapped
a one-base hit giving Chicago the win much to the delight of the home town
crowd.  Chicago finished with 12 hits in the victory.  
 
The win was credited to Huston Street(1-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings allowing
2 runs. Nathan(3-2) suffered the loss in relief.  He was pinned with the loss
despite not allowing an earned run in his 1 and 2/3 innings of work.
